Wan Chai =/= Chai Wan… I didn’t realize this difference at all…It made me change my today’s first destination… Actually I wanted to go to Stanley Beach which is located in Chai Wan. Because I thought Chai Wan was Wan Chai, I bought the ticket of Wan Chai. But anyway, I wasn’t disappointed because this place had many interesting places to go. Arriving in Wan Chai station, I was getting around and found some towers. 
They were high buildings as a center of business activity.
Afterward, I went to Golden Bauhinia Square. Because it was located in the seaside, the wind breezed so well and I love it! There were so many tourists there. Some people offered me to make a photo in front of the golden monument in reachable price I think, it was HKD10. I said “Okay!” and finally I made it. They asked me to wait about one minute to set the layout and printed the photo after taking my picture in front of the golden monument. 
I continued this day trip by visiting Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Museum of Art, and Hong Kong Space Museum. Avenue of Stars was about Hong Kong film industry. There were many informations about history of Hong Kong film industry. I could see so many hand-print of Hong Kong actor and actress. Anyway, I was just taking the photos. Even I didn’t know who they were. Tell me if you know any of them. 
Going to certain museums on Wednesday in Hong Kong is a good idea. In Hong Kong, usually Wednesday becomes free-admission-day. In the first museum, taking picture inside was prohibited. Then I only took the picture of the first museum from outside. I could see so many potteries and paintings made in some era in China. They were wonderful. Simple but had impressive meaning. Visiting Hong Kong Space Museum, visitors could take pictures free. I met some Malaysians there and you know what, next they considered me as Malaysian too. o_O 
Huft..Visiting many places made me soo hungry. I took MTR afterward to go to Victoria Park. I heard that near the park, there’s Indo Market, a shop selling Indonesian products and foods. And I got it…! I bought Nasi Kuning as my really-late-lunch. It was HKD140. Oishikatta! ^^ 
I met so many Indonesian people in the park. I had very nice talk with one of them. Her name is Susi. She’s been worked in Hongkong for years. She was coming from Madiun. We talked a lot while I was doing my lunch. Anyway, I found many senses of Indonesia around Victoria Park. Restaurant, jewelry shop, cellular phone counter, and some minimarkets. Check this out.

In the morning, first I went to The Peak by MTR. I said to the staff that I wanted to buy the combo ticket and he said I had to wait about one hour more because I came there too early, the ticket booth wasn’t opened yet. He recommended me to spend my time in Hong Kong Park.
Hong Kong Park is located across the ticket booth of The Peak. It has many interesting places to go such as visual art center, tai chi court, and many more.
about 60 minutes later…
Finally! The ticket booth was opened…! I bought my combo ticket. It was consisted of two-way-peak-tram ticket, sky-terrace ticket, and Madame Tussauds ticket. Its price was HKD200. The staff said that by buying combo ticket, I could buy a book of Madame Tussauds in special price. Well, then I bought it too. It was HKD15.
I was waiting for the tram for about 5 minutes with so many foreigners. As I know, The Peak is very popular as foreign tourists’ destination in Hong Kong. The tram was red, and had 2 cars. I was sitting next to a couple and suddenly the girl asked me whether I was from Indonesia or not using Indonesia language. I thought she and her boy friend were Indonesian, but I was wrong, they were Malaysian. ^^
Few minutes later, I got off from the tram. First place I saw was the market. Many shops were selling souvenirs and merchandise.
Then I went to Madame Tussauds. So many famous people there, in form of wax. They looked so real. I took some photos with some of them: Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Barrack Obama, Madonna, and so on. Anyway, I met some Indonesian there. They were very nice to me.
Unfortunately, today was so cloudy. When I was in Sky Terrace, I couldn’t see Hong Kong scenery clearly. 
I continued my trip by going to a famous temple in Hong Kong named Man Mo. It was located in Hollywood Road. Nothing related with Hollywood at all, because in this street all you can see are many shops selling antique goods. When I was there, Hong Kong was raining. Soft and smooth raining, not a heavy and big one. I could enjoy it without opening my umbrella.
I also went to Cityplaza, the biggest mall in Hong Kong Island. They’re selling so many goods of luxurious brands: Bvlgari, Burberry, etc. The building was really big and successfully made me feel tired after getting around there. Well, then I was straightly going back to hostel and took a rest. Otsukaresama!

Well, today is the beginning of my crazy trip..^^
I decided to go just by myself to Hong Kong. About 6 a.m. from dormitory, I was going to the airport by bus and subway. Check in, security inspection, boarding, and so on. Anyway, I was impressed by the service of China Eastern Airlines. They provided me Halal food as I ordered before. ^^
Finishing my first flight, I had to have my transfer in Shanghai PuDong Airport. On the way to the waiting hall, I had an accident, something happened with the heel of my boot, hiks. :’(
In the airport, then I was waiting longer because unfortunately the flight had to be delayed for almost two hours. This is where I was waiting for the next flight.
When I and another passengers were waiting for the flight, a woman gave us an announcement that we could show our boarding pass to take some beverages. I choose ice tea. In Javanese terminology, I called it “tombo kesel nunggu”…. 
Yeah! Finally I arrived in Hong Kong. The airport was very big. To go to the place for rechecking of passport and reclaiming baggage, I was getting on a train provided for free. I saw so many foreign people in the airport. Asian, European, American, Chinese, and many more. After taking my suitcase, I went to buy my shuttle bus ticket. It was HKD40 for single trip.
That was how Hong Kong bus looked like. Kind of Double Decker. It had so many interesting designs. Reminded me of Ochiai sensei’s class.
I took bus number A11 to go to my hostel which is located around Fortress Hill. The bus was quite comfortable. It had air conditioner inside. I met a Philippine girl named Ana in the bus, she was sitting next to me. She showed me where exactly to get off from the bus. Whatta a nice girl.
Well, I guess this is it for my first day in Hong Kong. I will try to tell you guys more for tomorrow and the next days as I’m staying in Hong Kong.
